Privacy Policy

This notice describes the website features and integrations verified in the application code. It is a draft for owner review; deployment and service-provider details listed below must be confirmed before this notice is treated as final.

Who is responsible?

The Bridge Between™ is the public brand of THE BRIDGE BETWEEN LTD, registered in England and Wales under Company No. 16690555. For privacy questions, contact thebridgebetween-ltd@polsia.app.

Self-Check responses

The optional Capacity Self-Check calculates scores in the page while it is open. The selections are held in page memory; the feature does not send them to an app API or save them in an account. Refreshing or closing the page clears them. No account or email is required to use the Self-Check.

Contacting the company

The reviewed site has an email link and no website contact-submission form. If you choose to email the company, the message and any details you include are sent through your email service to the company inbox above. The inbox provider, access arrangements and retention period need confirmation from the owner.

Browser storage, cookies and analytics

The theme control can save your display preference in browser local storage. The application code reviewed does not show it setting a conventional cookie for that preference. The owner should confirm that the applicable PECR exception for an appearance preference is met, including the required information and an easy, free way to object to the storage.

The application also contains a conditional Polsia page-view beacon. When the deployment provides an analytics app slug, the code creates or reads a random visitor identifier named polsia_vid in local storage and requests a page-view pixel from the configured Polsia API origin (or the Polsia default origin). The production setting, exact data handled by the service, its role, location and retention have not been confirmed for this notice. A narrow PECR exception can apply to analytics used only to produce statistics to improve a service, subject to conditions that include clear information and a simple, free way to object. The code reviewed does not establish whether this beacon meets that exception, and no analytics consent or objection control is shown. The owner must confirm the live setting and provider's purpose. Unless the exception's conditions are met, the beacon must be disabled or held back until prior consent is obtained.

Local storage and similar browser technologies are covered by rules for storing or accessing information on a device. The reviewed code has no consent banner or settings through which visitors can object to either storage use. The owner must confirm whether the appearance and analytics exceptions apply; if not, prior consent is needed before the relevant storage or access happens.

External resources and checkout

Resource links open pages operated by named third parties, including ACEs Aware, Harvard Medical School, NICE and the International Trauma Consortium. Workbook downloads link to Google Drive. Product pages and checkout links open Popstore. Your browser connects directly to those services when you follow their links; their own privacy information applies there.

The site also loads images from the Polsia media host, the POP.STORE image service and a public Polsia storage host. Those services receive the browser request needed to return each image. Their processing roles, request logs, locations and retention are not established by the website code and need owner confirmation.

The reviewed app code contains no local payment form or payment API. The owner must confirm what transaction or customer information Popstore makes available to the company, and the relevant provider roles and retention periods.

Your rights and questions

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, to object to processing, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact the company using the address above. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Retention and lawful basis

The app does not persist Self-Check responses. Its analytics identifier has no expiry set in the reviewed code and remains in local storage until cleared by the visitor or browser. The code does not establish how long Polsia, the hosting provider, the email service or Popstore keeps information, or the lawful basis used for any server-side processing. These details must be confirmed by the owner and relevant providers.

Owner confirmation still needed

  • Confirm whether the production Polsia analytics beacon is enabled.
  • Confirm analytics purpose, lawful basis, any required consent flow, provider role, data location and retention.
  • Confirm hosting and email-provider data, access, international transfers and retention.
  • Confirm what Popstore shares with the company about orders and how long it is kept.
  • Confirm the registered-office details shown in the site footer are current and are not a private residential address.

Until these details are confirmed, this page should be treated as an accurate summary of the inspected code, not a complete account of production processing.
